Worked on standardizing component identifiers across the QSDsan and EXPOsan repositories to improve clarity, consistency, and reproducibility in process modeling workflows. Focused on refactoring Python code and TSV data files, this effort involved renaming stored carbohydrate, lipid, and glucose identifiers in the PM2 process module and aligning initialization parameters and model definitions with established naming conventions. Addressed both feature development and bug fixes by updating library maintenance practices and system configuration. These changes reduced ambiguity and misconfiguration risks, supporting more reliable downstream analyses and enhancing maintainability for future development across both repositories through centralized documentation and consistent data standards.
Month: 2024-11. Focused on standardization of component identifiers across QSDsan and EXPOsan to improve clarity, consistency, and reproducibility. Delivered targeted naming changes in the PM2 process module and across initialization parameters, data files, and model definitions, aligning with established conventions and reducing ambiguity for future development and analysis.
