
Worked on the NCAR/chemistry-cafe repository, delivering end-to-end features for reaction management, species and property handling, and UI enhancements over a two-month period. Developed and refined React-based interfaces with Material-UI, implementing modal dialogs for reaction creation, editing, and display, while extending backend APIs and data models using TypeScript and SQL. Enhanced data integrity by adding input validation, deletion confirmations, and improved error handling throughout the application. Focused on maintainability with code cleanup and debugging improvements, ensuring reliable data visibility after updates. The work enabled faster, more reproducible simulation setup and provided a more robust, user-friendly experience for scientific workflows.
