During March 2025, Byteatatime developed the Recent Users Spotlight with Avatars feature for the hackclub/hackatime repository, enhancing community visibility by displaying new users with their avatars and names. They implemented backend logic in Ruby on Rails to fetch and serve recent signup data, and used HTML and CSS for frontend rendering and avatar styling. This end-to-end feature delivery improved social proof and engagement within the Hackatime platform. While no critical bugs were addressed during this period, Byteatatime demonstrated proficiency in backend development, frontend integration, and concise commit practices, contributing a focused and well-integrated enhancement to the project’s user experience.
