Worked on improving deployment flexibility for SpacetimeDB by addressing URL pathname handling in both the core SpacetimeDB repository and the spacetimedb-typescript-sdk. Focused on backend and full stack development, the work involved fixing connection logic to correctly parse and construct URLs containing pathnames, enabling reliable hosting at non-root paths. Used TypeScript and CSS to ensure consistent behavior across repositories, reducing deployment errors and simplifying onboarding for customers. The approach emphasized cross-repo alignment and traceability, with careful attention to SDK development and WebSocket connectivity. Delivered two targeted bug fixes that enhanced the reliability and configurability of SpacetimeDB deployments in custom environments.
