Worked on modernizing the build tooling for the laravel/livewire-starter-kit repository by upgrading Vite to version 7 and updating the Tailwind plugin to v4.1.11. Focused on dependency management and build tools, the approach centered on reducing tooling drift and aligning both development and CI environments with current standards. This update, implemented using JSON for configuration, aimed to create a more predictable and maintainable build process, supporting faster iteration cycles for future development. No user-facing bugs were introduced during this period, and the primary contribution was enhancing the upgradeability and reliability of the project’s internal tooling infrastructure.
