Worked on the coveo/platform-client repository to deliver a feature enabling retrieval of default document configurations through a newly implemented API. The approach involved creating the Sources.getDefaultDocumentConfiguration method, defining a DocumentConfigurationType enum, and updating relevant interfaces to ensure type safety and extensibility. Comprehensive tests were added to validate the new API and its integration within the codebase, supporting consistent configuration management across platforms. The work was carried out using TypeScript and full stack development practices, with a focus on robust API integration. This contribution laid the groundwork for more unified and maintainable document configuration handling within the platform.
