Worked on the coveo/platform-client repository to deliver two targeted features over a two-month period, focusing on TypeScript interface definition and enum management. Enhanced the SourceModel interface by introducing an optional documentConfig field, enabling per-document configuration while maintaining backward compatibility and supporting future extensibility. Additionally, expanded data ingestion capabilities by adding a Shopify data source type to the platform’s centralized enum taxonomy, laying the groundwork for future Shopify integration. The work emphasized maintainability and traceability, with changes implemented through focused, single-commit updates. No bug fixes were recorded, reflecting a concentrated effort on feature delivery and codebase extensibility.
