Worked on the hmcts/pcs-frontend repository to deliver Pact contract publishing improvements focused on reliability and security. The project involved removing the deprecated pact-node dependency and migrating the publishing workflow to use the pact-broker CLI, streamlining contract testing processes. Secure command execution was implemented using execFile with explicit input and output handling, while error handling and logging were enhanced to reduce publishing failures and improve CI/CD stability. Minor adjustments were made to the pull request workflow to align with evolving tooling requirements. The work leveraged skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and CI/CD, emphasizing robust contract testing and workflow automation.
