In June 2025, Ajube Jube developed a database scheduler component for the hmcts/enforcement-api repository, enabling automated execution of scheduled backend tasks. Leveraging Java, SQL, and Spring Boot, Ajube designed and implemented the scheduler’s infrastructure, configuration, and a HelloWorld sample task to validate the end-to-end scheduling flow. The work included robust error handling to improve reliability and observability, as well as dependency upgrades to address stability and security requirements. By establishing a maintainable scheduling framework, Ajube’s contribution laid the groundwork for reliable automated workflows within the enforcement API, demonstrating depth in backend development and database scheduling practices.
