Developed a database scheduler component for the hmcts/enforcement-api repository, enabling automated and reliable execution of scheduled backend tasks. The work involved setting up the necessary infrastructure and configuration, along with a HelloWorld sample task to demonstrate end-to-end scheduling flow. Leveraging Java, SQL, and Spring Boot, the implementation focused on robust error handling to enhance reliability and observability of scheduled operations. Dependency management was addressed through targeted upgrades, improving both stability and security. This feature established a maintainable foundation for future enforcement workflows, supporting automated task execution and providing a clear reference for integrating scheduled processes within the API backend.
