In June 2025, Ajube developed a database scheduler component for the hmcts/enforcement-api repository, enabling automated scheduled task execution within the enforcement API. Leveraging Java, SQL, and Spring Boot, Ajube designed the scheduler with robust error handling and comprehensive configuration, ensuring reliable and observable workflows. The implementation included infrastructure setup and a HelloWorld sample task to validate end-to-end scheduling, demonstrating practical integration with existing backend systems. Ajube also upgraded dependencies to address stability and security requirements, enhancing maintainability. This work established a foundation for automated enforcement processes, reflecting a focused and well-structured approach to backend and API development.
