Worked on the openwrt/luci repository to enhance the Wake-on-LAN management experience by improving the luci-app-wol user interface. Developed a feature using JavaScript and front-end development skills to display all configured Wake-on-LAN hosts, including powered-off devices, directly in the dropdown menu. This was achieved by iterating through etherwake sections in the UCI configuration and constructing a comprehensive hosts map with MAC addresses and names. The update ensures that the UI accurately reflects the actual configuration, reducing manual administrative work and minimizing the risk of misconfiguration. The work focused on measurable business value and key user experience improvements.
