Developed and integrated a new Polygon.io MCP Server within the punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers repository, enabling direct access to Polygon.io market data APIs and expanding the platform’s analytics capabilities. Focused on API integration and financial data analysis, the work established a scalable data access layer that connects seamlessly with the existing data pipeline. This integration laid the technical foundation for future data-driven analytics features and workflows, while also preparing the repository for upcoming QA and testing phases. The implementation was delivered using Markdown for documentation and planning, emphasizing maintainability and alignment with the project’s broader goals for financial data accessibility.
