Worked on the DanielTolaba-Umss/Plataforma-Python repository to enhance security and environment hygiene by addressing sensitive configuration management. Focused on clearing API credentials and related settings from the .env file, this effort reduced the risk of credential exposure and prepared the project for secure secret rotation. The technical approach involved careful environment management and commit-based traceability to ensure compliance and support for audits. Leveraged skills in configuration management and secure handling of secrets, primarily using environment file practices and Python-based workflows. This work improved the project’s security posture and operational readiness for production deployment without introducing new features.
