Delivered real-time notification system enhancements and UX improvements on the frontend, expanded notification capabilities with toast popups for new/unread alerts, and added a backend notification flow for comments. Hardened backend processing to prevent duplicate notifications and ensured only confirmed reservations from the last 24 hours trigger rental notifications. Result: more reliable, timely, and targeted notifications with reduced noise; improved data consistency and user engagement across platforms.

In April 2025, delivered a complete overhaul of the NotificacionesCampana notification system on the frontend and implemented real-time updates on the backend, delivering tangible business value through faster, more reliable user notifications and improved UX. Frontend introduced a dedicated notification page with filtering/sorting, a details modal, real-time updates via Server-Sent Events (SSE), unread-count handling, and error logging. Backend refactored SSE service to a singleton for efficient resource usage and enabled real-time delivery to connected clients. These changes reduce manual refreshes, improve user engagement, and provide a scalable foundation for proactive notifications.
