
Worked on the rubyaustralia/ruby_au repository to enhance the Melbourne site’s branding and prepare it for Progressive Web App functionality. Focused on front end and web development, the work involved integrating favicons and a web manifest using ERB and HTML, which improved brand consistency and enabled offline and app-like experiences for users. The technical approach included adding multiple icon sizes, updating manifest links in the HTML, and refining the asset pipeline for better management of icons and manifest binaries. This feature addressed issue #348, resulting in a more cohesive user experience and laying the groundwork for future PWA enhancements.
