During October 2025, Dany D’Souza enhanced the rubyaustralia/ruby_au repository by implementing Melbourne site branding and preparing the site for Progressive Web App capabilities. Dany integrated favicons and a web manifest using ERB and HTML, ensuring consistent branding across platforms and enabling offline and app-like experiences for users. The work focused on asset management, adding multiple icon sizes and manifest links directly into the HTML, and updating icon binaries to support PWA readiness. This feature addressed issue #348, improving the user experience and laying the groundwork for future enhancements in front end and web development for the Melbourne site.
