Introduced Ubuntu 22.04 as the base image and implemented build arguments to allow flexible selection between official and internal package mirrors. Improved Dockerfile maintainability by enforcing proper command chaining with shell scripting, ensuring deterministic builds and reducing dependency on external mirrors. These changes resulted in faster, more reliable container builds and streamlined deployment processes across environments. Demonstrated advanced use of Dockerfile patterns and shell scripting to deliver robust, CI-friendly image builds with consistent cross-repository standards.
