During September 2025, work focused on expanding DBeaver’s compatibility by integrating Greengage Database support into the dbeaver/dbeaver repository. This involved extending the PostgreSQL data source provider with Greengage-specific properties, version detection, and configuration assets to enable seamless connection and recognition of Greengage endpoints. The approach centered on Java development and plugin architecture, leveraging database integration skills to ensure reliable connectivity and accurate identification of Greengage databases. By enhancing the provider logic and adding necessary assets, the work reduced setup time for users and unlocked new business opportunities, reflecting a targeted and technically robust contribution within the project’s ecosystem.
