During July 2025, work focused on stabilizing and securing the Skyscanner/backpack repository rather than introducing new features. The developer addressed a critical security vulnerability by upgrading the @skyscanner/stylelint-config-skyscanner dependency, ensuring the project’s configuration files and build process reflected the latest security standards. Alongside this, a targeted SCSS adjustment refined the Segmented Control component’s visual styling, maintaining alignment with the design system and preventing UI regressions.
