Worked on stabilizing user navigation within the Open edX platform by addressing a critical issue in the profile microfrontend. Focused on frontend development using HTML, the work involved correcting the redirection flow in the openedx/edx-platform repository to ensure that usernames are properly appended to profile URLs. This targeted bug fix restored reliable access to user profile pages, resolving navigation failures caused by incorrect URL construction. The solution included validating the URL logic to prevent similar issues in the future, demonstrating attention to detail in frontend workflows and a methodical approach to maintaining a seamless user experience within the platform’s profile feature.
