Worked on the Pearson-Advance/edx-platform repository to enhance the stability and maintainability of the development environment. Focused on precise dependency management by pinning the edx-sga package to a specific post-release version, which reduced environmental drift and improved onboarding for new contributors. Streamlined CI/CD processes by removing deprecated GitHub Actions workflows, thereby simplifying the build pipeline and lowering ongoing maintenance requirements. Utilized skills in CI/CD, dependency management, and GitHub Actions, working primarily with YAML and text-based configuration files. The work addressed both a feature and a bug, contributing to a more reliable and developer-friendly project infrastructure within a single month.
