Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-sairedis repository to deliver foundational improvements in timer management for the link event damper, introducing the SelectablesTracker class to enable per-port event handling. The approach focused on robust C++ development and software architecture, replacing raw pointers with std::shared_ptr for enhanced memory safety and adding comprehensive null checks. Eleven unit tests, including mocks, were implemented to ensure reliability and maintainability, with integration into existing build and CI pipelines. This work laid the groundwork for future RedisInterface integration and aligned with high-level design requirements, emphasizing quality through increased test coverage and adherence to modern C++ best practices.
