Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-sairedis repository to centralize Xsight configuration initialization, aiming to streamline deployment and reduce manual setup. Developed a dedicated init_xsai.sh shell script to replace multiple symbolic link creations, providing a single entry point for initializing Xsight environments. This approach improved reliability by minimizing configuration drift and simplified ongoing maintenance for system administrators. The work leveraged shell scripting and system administration skills to automate and standardize the initialization process. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a focused delivery on feature development and deployment efficiency for Xsight within the sonic-sairedis codebase.
