During March 2025, David Wheeler enhanced code ownership governance for the Azure/ARO-HCP repository by updating the CODEOWNERS file to include both the .github and .devcontainer directories. This work focused on improving repository configuration and supporting containerized development environments, ensuring that the appropriate teams have clear ownership and faster review cycles. Leveraging skills in DevOps and code ownership management, David utilized YAML and GitHub-based workflows to streamline developer onboarding and strengthen security. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the update provided a more reliable and efficient process for managing code reviews.
