
Worked on the NCSU-High-Powered-Rocketry-Club/Payload-2024-2025 repository to enhance telemetry reliability and system lifecycle management for embedded flight systems. Focused on improving IMU data flow, transmitter shutdown, and Direwolf integration, while strengthening exception handling in the main flight loop to reduce silent failures. Used Python and Shell scripting to implement robust data transmission upon landing and provide UI feedback on IMU data availability. Performed extensive code cleanup, removing obsolete debug calls and introducing an abstract BaseReceiver interface to support future extensibility. These efforts improved code maintainability, flight safety, and enabled faster iteration on telemetry and hardware integration features.
