In June 2025, Emil Schaetzle expanded ad-blocking coverage for the Joyn.ch domain within the uBlockOrigin/uAssets repository. He developed a feature that extended the filter list to include Joyn.ch and implemented a no-fetch-if rule to block ad-related fetches, thereby reducing unnecessary network requests and improving blocking reliability.
