Contributed to the uBlockOrigin/uAssets repository by expanding ad-blocking coverage to include the joyn.ch domain, enhancing user privacy and ensuring consistent blocking across related domains. Developed and delivered a filter-list extension using text-based filter rules, implementing the no-fetch-if directive to block ad-related network requests with minimal performance impact. This work focused on filter list management and domain-specific blocking, resulting in improved reliability and maintainability within the ad-blocking ecosystem. The feature was tracked through a single, reviewable commit, demonstrating a methodical approach to traceability and code quality while addressing the need for robust, domain-targeted ad-blocking solutions.
