Worked on the uBlockOrigin/uAssets repository to enhance ad-blocking effectiveness and user experience through targeted filter list management. Focused on improving rules for redisex.* domains, new filters were developed to block anti-adblock elements and restrict developer tool access via common key combinations, addressing evolving ad evasion tactics. Additionally, an overly aggressive filter blocking the opener JavaScript function was removed to restore video playback functionality while maintaining other protections. All changes were carefully documented for traceability and clean rollbacks. The work relied on advanced ad blocking techniques and text-based filter management, emphasizing stability and maintainability in the filter update process.
