Developed enhanced email notification features for the thiws24/equipli repository, focusing on improving pickup and return reminder workflows. Introduced new HTML templates and integrated location-aware content by wiring pickup and return location variables into email data transfer objects and templates. Leveraged backend development skills and email service integration to ensure notifications provide clear, actionable information to users, reducing ambiguity around pickup and return logistics. Utilized Java and HTML to implement these changes, laying the foundation for more data-driven, context-rich notifications. This work established a scalable approach for future enhancements to the notification system, emphasizing maintainability and user clarity.
