During the month, contributed a key feature to the GetJobber/atlantis repository by implementing onTextLayout prop support for the Text and Typography components in components-native. This work involved defining the new prop, ensuring its propagation to the underlying React Native Text component, and developing comprehensive tests to validate functionality. By exposing text layout metrics such as line breaks and dimensions, the feature enables improved UI layout decisions, accessibility checks, and analytics integration. The implementation demonstrated proficiency in component development, API design, and testing using JavaScript and TypeScript, delivering an end-to-end solution that enhances the flexibility and observability of text rendering.
