Developed an enhancement for the Chip component in the GetJobber/atlantis repository, adding support for an edit icon among the allowed suffix icons to visually indicate when a chip is editable. This feature improved user experience by providing a clear visual cue for chip interactions and aligning with the repository’s established design patterns. The work focused on component development and front-end engineering, utilizing TypeScript to ensure type safety and maintainability. Throughout the process, clear commit message conventions were followed and changes were linked to the relevant pull request, demonstrating attention to code hygiene and collaborative development practices within the project.
