Worked on the HL7/fhir repository to enhance the Device Alert Example, focusing on improving interoperability and developer usability. Addressed gaps by adding missing search parameter examples and refining the coding representation for the light annunciator, ensuring closer alignment with HL7/FHIR standards. Migrated the existing structure to a more detailed coding format, which reduces ambiguity and supports standard-compliant implementations. The work emphasized standards compliance and maintainability, leveraging XML and API development skills throughout the process. No major regressions were reported following deployment, reflecting a careful approach to integration and quality. The contribution deepened the repository’s support for interoperable healthcare data.
