Worked on the SengokuCola/MaiMBot repository to enhance the reliability and branding consistency of bot prompts. Addressed a configuration management issue by replacing a hardcoded nickname in the Heartflow prompt with a dynamic reference to the global_config.BOT_NICKNAME variable. This Python-based solution ensures that all bot responses automatically reflect the configured nickname, streamlining future updates and maintaining brand alignment. Focused on prompt engineering, the update centralized nickname management within the codebase, reducing maintenance overhead and potential errors. The work improved user experience by ensuring consistent branding across interactions, while demonstrating attention to maintainability and best practices in configuration management.
