Worked on the core-ds/core-components repository to enhance the CalendarDesktop component by introducing a new hideDisabledArrows prop. This feature allows the interface to hide navigation arrows when they are disabled in month-only view, reducing visual clutter and helping users focus on relevant controls. The implementation was delivered through a focused feature commit and linked to a pull request for streamlined review and integration. Leveraging skills in component development and front-end engineering, the work was completed using React with both JavaScript and TypeScript. The update supports future prop-driven customization and demonstrates attention to user experience in UI component design.
