Worked on stabilizing the mobile user interface for the core-ds/core-components repository by addressing a key usability issue in modal and side panel components. Implemented a Bottom Safe Area Padding Fallback using CSS to ensure consistent bottom padding on devices lacking a safe area inset, which improved visual consistency and accessibility across both iOS and Android platforms. This targeted bug fix aligned component behavior with the established design system, reducing visual glitches and enhancing the overall user experience. The work demonstrated a focused approach to front-end development, with clear traceability through commit history and direct linkage to the relevant issue in the project.
