Worked on the vmware/build-tools-for-vmware-aria repository to deliver an authentication strategy enhancement tailored for standalone vRO 9 environments. This feature enabled reliable push and pull operations using Basic Auth, streamlining automation workflows by removing unnecessary version checks. The approach focused on adapting authentication flows within automation tooling, reducing setup time and improving deployment reliability for vRO 9. Leveraged Java and REST API skills to integrate the new authentication mechanism into the backend, ensuring compatibility with existing systems. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed implementation that addressed automation friction and onboarding efficiency.
