Worked on enhancing software bill of materials (SBOM) tooling within the spring-projects/spring-boot repository by upgrading the CycloneDX Gradle Plugin from version 1.10.0 to 2.2.0. This upgrade improved SBOM generation capabilities, supporting better security and compliance tracking. The technical approach involved updating the parent build.gradle file to leverage new plugin features and revising build documentation to reflect these changes. Focused on build management and documentation, the work utilized Gradle as the primary language and tool. No customer-impacting bugs were reported during this period, and the contribution centered on a single, targeted feature enhancement for the project.
