Worked on the MarieEtienne/2024_MODE_OCR repository to enhance both data visualization workflows and documentation usability. Over two months, introduced plotting customization readiness by refining the group_3.qmd workflow, specifically addressing syntax in R scripts to support future ggplot2 enhancements. Leveraged Quarto and Git for maintainable, traceable feature delivery. Subsequently, implemented collapsible code blocks and a code visibility toggle in Quarto HTML output, allowing readers to control code display and reduce documentation clutter. Focused on clear commit history and modular feature rollout, the work improved the repository’s extensibility and user experience, utilizing R, Quarto, and data visualization best practices throughout.
