Work included implementing an elevator control system with safety limits and integrating algae intake and outtake operations, all mapped to Xbox controller inputs for safer and more efficient operator interaction. Enhanced the robot’s autonomy by introducing rotational PID control, tuning PID gains, and adding a DriveForward autonomous command. Improvements to the vision subsystem enabled more reliable AprilTag tracking. Solutions were delivered using Java, embedded systems, and command-based programming, emphasizing maintainability, operator safety, and robust autonomous performance in live deployments.
