Worked on the CivicTechWR/connectedkw repository to enhance the user experience of the profile creation flow and improve skill-based profile filtering. Focused on front end development using JavaScript, React, and Next.js, the work included refining ProfileForm formatting, resolving rich text editor overflow, and refactoring image upload and submission logic for clearer error handling. Addressed a bug in skill filtering by updating the logic to accurately match skill IDs, ensuring correct display of profiles in search results. These changes streamlined onboarding, improved data quality, and increased maintainability, laying a foundation for future profile features and more efficient troubleshooting in the codebase.
