Worked on the infiniflow/ragflow repository to deliver Knowledge-Base Scoped Citations in Chat, ensuring that chat responses referenced only documents from the active knowledge base. This feature addressed a cross-knowledge-base citation bug, reducing citation noise and improving the relevance and trustworthiness of generated responses. The solution involved tightening the retrieval-augmented generation loop and aligning chat outputs with the current knowledge base context. Leveraging Python for backend development and SQL for data handling, the work focused on enhancing API reliability and support quality. The changes contributed to more accurate information delivery and a better user experience within the chat system.
