Worked on localization improvements for the elementary/files repository, focusing on enhancing Brazilian Portuguese support within the Files application. Delivered updates by translating new interface strings such as number sequence, text, suffix, and prefix, and added date and time format options to improve usability for PT-BR users. Used PO files and Vala to ensure translations were accurate and consistent with Weblate workflows. Refined server address input copy for clarity and corrected translator metadata to maintain project standards. The work emphasized internationalization and localization skills, enabling broader user adoption and ensuring the application’s language support remained current and reliable throughout the release cycle.
