Addressed a bug in the build automation process by implementing a Release Build Tagging Fix, ensuring that the build tooling correctly reflects new release versions and applies tags accurately. Updated the Debian changelog and synchronized pom.xml version numbers to 4.18.2.5, aligning source code, packaging, and release metadata across CI/CD pipelines. Utilized Shell scripting and release management skills to maintain traceability and consistency, supporting reliable deployment workflows and ensuring all release artifacts remained in sync.
