In August 2025, Imentu integrated the prek tool with the aqua registry configuration in the jdx/mise repository, focusing on enhancing configuration management and automation. By defining backends and automated test commands for prek using TOML, Imentu enabled reproducible and portable configuration workflows within the mise environment. The work involved aligning changes with an external aqua-registry pull request to ensure traceability and consistency across systems. This integration improved onboarding and enabled automated end-to-end testing for prek in mise. The project demonstrated depth in configuration management and registry integration, leveraging TOML and automation practices to streamline development and testing processes.
