Worked on integrating the prek tool into the aqua registry configuration within the jdx/mise repository, focusing on enhancing configuration management and automation. The approach involved defining backends and automated test commands for prek, enabling its seamless use in the mise environment and supporting end-to-end testing workflows. This integration was implemented using TOML for configuration and leveraged skills in configuration management to ensure reproducibility and portability. The work was linked to an external pull request in the aqua-registry, providing traceability and alignment across repositories. The changes improved onboarding and automated testing processes for prek within mise during the development period.
