May 1, 2025Delivered Zig plugin Mach support with index-based URL resolution in the jdx/mise repository. Implemented logic to fetch tarball URLs from download index JSON for both official Zig releases and Mach engine releases, and refactored download code to a reusable helper function. Updated tests and docs to reflect Mach versioning behavior, and ensured Mach installation remains possible directly while Mach zig versions are excluded from ls-remote zig version lists. This work improves reliability of tarball resolution and reduces installation friction for Mach users. Refactoring improved maintainability and test coverage.
