Over seven months, contributed to jdx/mise and openwrt/packages by building registry integrations, backend support, and configuration enhancements focused on automation and deployment flexibility. Delivered features such as Aqua backend integration for DuckDB and CMake, Kwokctl and television tool onboarding, and Zig plugin Mach support, using Rust, Bash, and TOML for implementation and configuration. Enhanced reproducible builds with diffoci integration and improved system administration through Linux-based configuration management. In openwrt/packages, enabled flexible file system access for AdGuard Home via a new jail_mount_rw option. Work emphasized maintainability, test coverage, and streamlined workflows across build systems, registries, and package management.
March 2026 monthly summary for openwrt/packages focused on enabling flexible file system access for AdGuard Home via Jail Mount Read-Write configuration. Delivered a new configuration option 'jail_mount_rw' to grant read-write access to specified directories, addressing a prior limitation and enhancing deployment flexibility. The change is implemented in the openwrt/packages repo and tied to commit 704319e27ba606e9a1eed8768d9b2328a291e8a8 (Signed-off-by: Afiq Nazrie). This work improves AdGuard Home integration, simplifies admin workflows, and strengthens the package's configurability for real-world deployments.

Delivered Zig plugin Mach support with index-based URL resolution in the jdx/mise repository. Implemented logic to fetch tarball URLs from download index JSON for both official Zig releases and Mach engine releases, and refactored download code to a reusable helper function. Updated tests and docs to reflect Mach versioning behavior, and ensured Mach installation remains possible directly while Mach zig versions are excluded from ls-remote zig version lists. This work improves reliability of tarball resolution and reduces installation friction for Mach users. Refactoring improved maintainability and test coverage.
