Worked on the webrecorder/browsertrix repository to address a critical issue in the Crawl workflow UI, focusing on improving the accuracy of user interactions. Delivered a targeted bug fix that updated the workflow action menu, ensuring the button correctly references and edits exclusions rather than browser windows. This change was implemented using TypeScript and front end development skills, aligning the UI behavior with user expectations and reducing the risk of misconfigurations. The update enhanced the reliability of crawl workflow configuration, minimized potential for user error, and supported smoother maintainer operations by preventing mis-edits and decreasing related support inquiries within the application.
