Worked on enhancing IPv6 readiness across the fluent/fluentd and bitnami/charts repositories, focusing on robust dual-stack deployment support. Addressed a critical bug in Fluentd by updating the http_server helper to generate RFC 3986-compliant URIs and properly handle IPv6 bind addresses, including normalization and comprehensive tests. Delivered a new feature for the Bitnami haproxy chart, enabling explicit configuration of IP family policies and dual-stack support, along with CI-friendly versioning. Utilized Ruby and YAML for backend and chart management tasks, demonstrating skills in Kubernetes, DevOps, and network programming to improve reliability and deployment success in modern cloud environments.
