Worked on the bitnami/charts repository to enhance the configurability and reliability of Thanos deployments in Kubernetes environments. Delivered a feature that allows users to configure additional labels for the Thanos query ingress resource, improving deployment flexibility through Helm and YAML-based configuration management. Addressed a parsing issue in the Thanos ruler component by removing unnecessary quotes from the ruler.ruleFile parameter, which increased stability and reduced potential deployment errors. The work focused on practical improvements that reduce deployment friction and support more robust operations, leveraging skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and Helm to deliver targeted solutions within a short development period.
