Worked on enhancing the notifications subsystem for the apache/answer repository, focusing on improving user mapping and notification routing across external systems. Developed a feature that resolves external IDs through SSO providers, ensuring accurate association between users and notifications. Implemented system precedence logic so that notifications from a designated external system override fallback options, reducing the risk of misrouted messages. Addressed lookup and precedence bugs to further improve reliability and consistency in cross-system workflows. Utilized Go for backend development, leveraging API integration and database management skills to deliver a targeted solution that reinforced notification accuracy and streamlined business processes.
