ImpyKid contributed a German localization update to the YunoHost/yunohost repository, focusing on enhancing language coverage for the core project. Working through Weblate, ImpyKid translated and integrated 708 out of 869 strings, raising German translation progress to 81.4 percent. The workflow involved end-to-end localization, from translation in Weblate to committing changes in source control using Shell scripting. This update improved the experience for German-speaking users by reducing untranslated content and established a scalable process for future localization efforts. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to internationalization, emphasizing both technical accuracy and user accessibility within the YunoHost platform.
