Worked on the Granola-Team/mina-indexer repository to deliver a targeted refactor focused on standardizing account creation fee display and balance presentation across multiple token types. The approach involved introducing a unified method for displaying amounts and simplifying the logic for fee deduction, which addressed inconsistencies in financial data presentation and reduced maintenance complexity. By leveraging Rust and applying code cleanup and refactoring skills, the changes improved the correctness of financial calculations and enhanced user-facing clarity. This work also laid the groundwork for future token-specific display enhancements, increasing maintainability and testability of the codebase while streamlining onboarding of new display rules.
