Worked on the AliceO2Group/QualityControl repository, delivering seven features and a bug fix over two months focused on improving data calibration, analysis, and visualization for physics software. Developed robust algorithms in C++ to enhance noise pixel identification using occupancy metrics, expanded task parameterization for finer validation, and introduced configurable calibration workflows. Enhanced payload data handling to support legacy formats and improved error visualization, while optimizing performance and quality control. In later work, refactored pixel data calibration to introduce per-pixel histograms and added validation checks for configuration mismatches, strengthening reliability and clarity in calibration processes and downstream data analysis.
September 2025: Delivered a robustness-focused feature for pixel data calibration in QualityControl, significantly improving pixel scan handling and data validation. This work enhances calibration reliability and data quality for downstream analysis, reducing rework and downtime in production scans.
