Worked on the civictheme/monorepo-drupal repository over two months, focusing on both documentation and configuration management. Improved the onboarding process by streamlining theme installation and sub-theme creation guides, removing outdated instructions, and aligning documentation with current Drupal theming workflows using Markdown and YAML. Later, decoupled entity form display configurations from content moderation workflows, reducing dependencies and enabling independent maintenance of form settings. These changes enhanced maintainability and reduced workflow-related risks across the monorepo. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to process improvement and configuration management, emphasizing clarity, maintainability, and ease of collaboration for future contributors and cross-team efforts.
